Christine has lived a life of music since age five through her piano, flute, guitar, and vocals. Her journey through school bands/choirs, piano competitions, studies with the Royal Conservatory, obtaining a Bachelor of Music degree at UBC, singing and touring with the University Singers, and serving at her church as a worship singer/pianist/keyboardist and band member, has prepared Christine for her current career as a private piano, guitar, vocal teacher, at her in-home music studio. Christine has been writing poetry most of her life but began serious lyric/music composing in 2002. She draws musical inspiration from artists such as Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Alicia Keays, Christina Aguilera, and Evanesence. 

Christine released her first CD of original songs, entitled “OVERCOME”, in April, 2007. It was produced and engineered by well-known Canadian Christian recording artist, Michael Hart at his sound studio, SOULKEEPER STUDIOS.Graphics were done by Brent Flink (INDIVISUAL DESIGN). Christine offers an eclectic mix of musical styles from soul, jazz/blues, to pop/rock and adds in a classical edge on the piano. 

The theme from her album comes from knowing that anything is possible when you have faith and trust in the Lord. Christine’s work has been recognized by GMA Canada (Gospel Music Association -Canada) and she has been nominated for three Covenant awards , ceremony to be held in Calgary, Alberta on October 26, 2007 at the 29th Covenant Awards. 

Christine continues to write songs and hopes that they will impact all people, believers and non-believers, to know and understand the depth of God’s love. Since the CD Release, Christine has been performing at Benefit concerts, in-home concerts and was thrilled to, not only entertain, but to minister to the homeless and less fortunate at Vancouver’s Central City Foundation’s 100th anniversary celebration. She plans to continue performing and recording further albums of her work.
